Manager, Special Projects


POSITION SUMMARY

Manager, Special Projects Operations, is a client-faced position playing a crucial role in ensuring the success of our operational projects, acquisitions, and integrations. In this hands-on role, you would work closely with our subsidiaries leadership to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions, and ensure the successful execution of projects from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Due Diligence Assistance: Support Decisive Dividend’s acquisition team in conducting due diligence for potential acquisitions by gathering and organizing relevant data, assisting in analysis, and providing administrative support throughout the process.
  • Post-Integration Support: Providing ongoing support to ensure that the integration is successful in the long term and addressing any lingering issues or challenges that arise after the initial integration phase.
  • Project planning: Collaborate with subsidiaries to understand their objectives, requirements, and expectation for a project, including developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget for each project.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between various departments such as engineering, production, supply chain, and quality assurance, facilitating collaboration and ensuring alignment on project goals and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement Support: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing support for initiatives such as lean manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvement plans.
  • Safety Guidance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into manufacturing processes, equipment design, and facility layouts.
  • Quality Assurance Assistance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that process improvements align with regulatory requirements and quality standards, providing support in compliance efforts.
  • Travel requirements: this position requires extensive travel


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, operations management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • 10 plus years previous experience in project support or coordination within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.


Salary range: The salary range is $120,000 to $140,000, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply, even if the salary range is below their expectations, please indicate range when submitting your resume.
